FAQ ABOUT BUYING A USED CAR
Do used cars come with a warranty?
When you buy a car from us, your car will come with a mechanical protection plan. This plan is unlimited in time or up to 300,000 km. Read more about our Mechanical protection plan here.
Can I trade in my old car?
Yes, we want your car! We buy all makes, all models and we don't care about its age. We offer an obligation free valuation and you can use the value towards your new car if you would like.
Does the car come with a roadworthy certificate (RWC)?
Yes, all our used cars have a roadworthy certificate in addition to a PPSR (vehicle history report) to ensure the car has not been stolen, has finance owing, or other important issues.
What finance options are available?
We offer a variety of finance options, our Business managers are accredited with numerous lenders to ensure we’re able to tailor repayments option to you.
What documents do I need to buy a used car?
You need proof of your identity e.g. driver licence (we can't let you test drive without a driver license). We will handle transfer of registration for you.
Do you accept deposits or hold cars?
Yes, we will require a deposit to hold a car for you.
How do I know I'm getting a good deal?
We only sell quality used cars at Brian Hilton Motor Group. Before any car hits the yard we do a comprehensive mechanical inspection, including safety features, performance and condition. We also check its PPSR (vehicle history report), to ensure check its history (PPSR), to ensure the car has not been stolen, has finance owing, or other important issues. Finally, all our used cars comes with a lifetime (or up to 300,000km) mechanical protection plan and capped price servicing to know you're supported all the way.
How can I be sure it is nothing wrong with the car?
We always do a comprehensive mechanical inspection, including safety features and performance and repair any major issues including new tyres when required. Your car will also be covered by our mechanical protection plan.
Can I drive away with my new car at once?
In many cases, you can drive away immediately. Once payment is finalised, insurance and registration paper organised, we can release the car.
